i just had my highlights done a few weeks ago & added a few deep red lowlights in with the honey blonde.

today i did a little antique store perusing.

bought a copy of treasure island from the 60′s.

& a few more little gems.

i went by the craft store to get supplies for my sister baby shower in august.

i also got annie a new toy, but after barking at it for a few minutes she’s back asleep.

lazy pup.

it’s insane how much you can get done when you get up before 8.

i’ve been extremely busy lately.

now that the spring quarter is over i’m working full time at my internship (which i love 20 million times more than going to class).

but i’ve been spending a lot of time alone.

it’s nice, i get to think a lot.

(which isn’t always good but the quiet is a nice change).

i think about the past 3 or 4 years & how things have changed.

i think about how i ended up in charlotte.

i think about how i love parts of charlotte, but also still wish i was somewhere else.

i think about going to europe.

i think about falling in love.

i think about how i thought my life would be at this time.

i think about what i was doing last summer, the summer before & the summer before.

i think about what’s planned for my life, that i don’t even know about yet.

it’s been nice to have space & quiet to think.

& i’ve been listening to this song over & over.

omg. it’s thankful thursday already & i’m still thinking it’s tuesday.

i realized on like saturday that i missed thursday last week.

whatevs.

[one] i’m thankful i finished my last class of the quarter YESTERDAYYY.

[two] i’m thankful i have 3 weeks of NO CLASSES, i’m getting a little exhausted, hence the inability to remember what day it is.

[three] i’m thankful i’m only going to be working ONE job now, no more bookstore after today, but i’ll be working more at my internship.

[four] i’m thankful for only TWO more quarters of school, then i GRADUATE.

[five] i’m thankful it’s only TWO more weeks until i can go to the BEACH. i’m soooo ready for some salt air in my life.

happy monday morning!

i had a busy but super productive weekend.

i worked late friday night, had a chi omega alum meeting saturday morning & worked a few hours after that too.

saturday when i got home i was in the mood to clean up & out.

& that’s what i did.

i took a few dresses & some shoes to my cousin & packed up the rest for giveaway.

& it’s rare that i get rid of shoes.

i love mondays because i love monday confessions.

[one] i love shania twain & i’m glad she’s back! i’m going to have to go to vegas next year to see her show. i’ve been listening to my shania twain station on pandora all weekend.

[two] i spent saturday night home, by myself, watching sabrina. i love audrey hepburn.

[three] i think i am going to cancel my gym membership because i just don’t have time to go. i can run outside & i started jillian michaels 30 day shred yesterday. but i haven’t totally made up my mind yet.

[four] i’m super excited in less than a month (july 6th) flipping out will be back on

[five] i’m obsessed with smoothies lately, especially double banana & honey.
